Company Remarks

Leads its industry in environmental management of suppliers. Code of conduct requires over 650 contract factories in 52 countries to have written environmental policies. Initiatives include using organic cotton; its entire manufacturing process generates less waste than its retail packaging. Introduced a basketball shoe in 2009 made from "environmentally preferred materials", such as recycled polyester, and packaged in a 100% recycled fiber box.
